Well none is more surprised to see me back here again. This week has been a week of ups and downs. My 13yr old started back at school and we have had once in 10 year storms with another ste of once in 10 year storms about to hit tonight. Nothing like twice in 10 years to make you appreciate the lull in between!!!!
School went well but she is now sitting here all but comatose. Makes me wonder about the stamina of this generation or the workload and the expectation of the school system. On the work side I discovered my job title is more on the IT side of things which can only be to the good!!!

The start
This blog is started in honour of a little girl whose blog I read tonight. She is now 5 and has cancer. Her mother has a blog about her here [url=http://www.stuff.co.nz/blogs/cancer]Bianca[/url].
Over 7 years ago I was diagnosed with cancer. I had many surgeries, chemo have some long term disabilities but I am still here. Since then I have been through divorce and many family traumas, got another university qualification and now last week have started a full time job.
So this is my life as I grow old, sometimes disgracefully and sometimes full of the amazing grace of life, but without cancer and with the support of my wonderful children and family.
